Long live the politically incorrect masterworks of the past!
For most of the bien pensant, revolutionary fervour is a vehicle for their social status ambitions. The real world outcome of the crackpot revolution's nominal goals is irrelevant. They're little more than sanctimonious window-dressing. The backstabbing and bootlicking struggle matters much more to the enthusiasts. A rare few will get steady paying gigs out of it. Short con grifters will cash in and run. The rest will be harvested for free labour and whatever meagre cash can be extracted. This is what happens when there's a huge surplus of wannabe elites, mostly mediocre, and negligible opportunity for them.
Hear hear! I've been paying for a VPN provider for a number of years now simply to have access to BBC and other British TV. Alas, Auntie Beeb also seems to have caught the politically correct DIE bug and nowadays I find myself tuning out more often than not. Oh well, saves me a paid VPN sub next year as Proton has a perfectly fine free, non-UK VPN service for other purposes.
