The Dutch farmer revolt is focusing attention on the prime minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte. Why is he pursuing this agenda to radically restructure Dutch agriculture?
I am hoping he screwed up big-time, as the amount of world farmer revolt suggests a positive movement. However, as the Dutch police have used bullets there may be more vigilant protests. Canada has the same Nitrogen 2030 mandate yet little farmer revolt so far.
The farmers say they are planning more aggressive actions, but one has to hope that they don't take forms which would lose them public support, which up to now appears widespread. Nitrogen it seems is the new CO2.
