It was always that way, but we did not see the mask of imperialism built in the institution of EU

Yes. That's certainly what the Ukraine conflict has revealed: "keeping the peace in Europe" was just a fairy tale.

Thanks for writing, very well done .The next question which occurs for the future of Europe is there a way back or a new road forward. Is it possible awaken enough people to tell them an new roadmap and the road we are folllowing now is a deadrow.

Very good question indeed. My own sense is that the EU cannot be reformed, as it was never designed with any kind of genuine democracy in mind; in fact it is actively anti-democratic. At the same time, if I look at a country like NL, the vast majority still seem to believe in the EU, even though whatever benefits it may bring are diminishing. Best-case scenario at the moment may be a slow withering away. Perhaps in due time the EU will simply become irrelevant. The single currency is an entirely different matter, perhaps best left to discuss another day. Thank you for commenting!
