Russia and China can never been forgiven for refusing to play their assigned roles in the US's Rules-Based Order®. Russia was supposed to a supplier of cheap hydrocarbons and other natural resources, China the low-wage sweatshop of the world. They can never be forgiven for thinking otherwise! Eventually the US/UK neocons will lose power and fade into much-deserved oblivion, and a more realistic, pragmatic mindset will take hold, but that could take a decade or so, and we can probably expect more proxy wars like Ukraine in the interval. A conflict over Taiwan coming up next perhaps?
Thanks for the link, nice find. It's extremely difficult to get reliable reporting in the West on what the Chinese are actually thinking and doing. So much spin and misinformation.
Clearly the balance of power is shifting, but I don't think we're approaching the end of the neocon era yet. Sadly Ukraine is just a pawn, or rather the Ukrainian people are, but those living in regions that will become part of the Russian Federation in one form or another can at least look forward to a better future.
In the west as soon as it is from Russia or China it is bad. It doesn't matter how bad our system is, their's is worse. Thanks for this.

Thanks for the Taiwan reference. I feel like I am waking out of a denial dream. Scary how we can ignore so much of what happens around us. I am sure you have good sources, this is one I found illuminating. https://watchingamerica.com/WA/2021/11/28/is-taiwan-being-pushed-into-a-proxy-war/

I just read somewhere that there is as much propaganda in the US and Russia, the difference is that the Russian know it is propaganda.
Soviet-era propaganda was pretty crude in comparison with what we so prolifically produce in the West these days. They were pikers in comparison.
How much damage I wonder before the neocons lose power? Amazing how everyone can say they support Ukraine while they relentlessly destroy it.

Well said. Our own compradors and goons love it when outsiders catch the opprobrium.
